Nationaal Register (NR) is organizing special courses in the Caribbean for Supervisory Board Potentials and Non-Executive Board Members. These courses contribute to the education and professionalization of board potentials and non-executives on the islands in the Caribbean. In March 2016 the first groups started on Curacao and Sint Maarten with great success.
Group dynamics and the right planning are important aspects for building positive and effective groups. This is both true for supervisory boards as well as the course groups. Every group will be carefully composed en registrations will be followed up by an intake form. While carefully looking at the resumes, ambitions and expectations of all individuals, we form groups that are inspiring to all its members. We would like to stress that we appreciate diversity in the groups. Our aim is to work with small groups, mixed backgrounds of the participants and an interactive work approach.

All participants who finish their course successfully will receive a certificate and then are assumed to be aware of their responsibility for good governance.
The regular investment for the course is $ 4,495. The amount is including all course days, meals and materials, a set of Toolkits, books and articles, and a year’s subscription to the Governance Knowledge database of NR. Please note that the amount mentioned is also including OB.
Mrs. drs. Carla Aalse is an advisor, executive coach, boardroom advisor and the programm coordinator for NR Academy. As an organisational and social psychologist she is broadly experienced in (non-) executive management roles in several branches. Carla is born and raised on Curacao, has (working) experience in the region, and is well aware of the habits and legislations on the different islands. Besides that, she is also active in several supervisory and non-executive roles.
